  3. This command allows writing of any text file. Note that the first line
  4. of the file automatically contains your call sign as well as date and time!
  5. Thus, you should not use it for files which ave to be transferred unchanged
  6. like CONFIG.SP or 7PLUS files. Use binary methods (//WPRG or //WAUTO) for
  7. such files.

  9. Abort at any time by sending Control-D. Store the file with Control-Z
  10. or //W OFF.
  11.  
  12. Note: file names which are or look like call signs can only be read by those
  13. calls! Thus, if you //W WA8DED.DOC be aware that only WA8DED can read
  14. that file!
